Top cover opens to accept belt of 7.62mm (.308) cal dummy rounds for display. Receiver is rewelded to BATF specifications to not allow the insertion of an operating rod. (Dummy ammo belts available seperately)
Many pictures from Nam era show the M60 stripped for combat so our basic model is without a bipod as was regularly seen in photos of that era.
